Brady Harmon has been an active member of New Hope Baptist Church, holding various leadership positions, since 2007. Born and raised in Arkadelphia, he fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a Police Officer and began his law enforcement career in 2001. In the years he spent at the Arkadelphia Police Department he earned the rank of Corporal and became a School Resource Officer.
Through his career as an officer, Brady found his passion to take the love and encouragement of Jesus Christ to the lost and misguided. LEOs run toward the problem while others run away. Brady sees this as similar to his Christian duty as he seeks to serve, while the world seems to be turning its back on the youth of today. These ideals led him to his position as Outreach Coordinator and on to the Director of Youth Ministries at New Hope.
Brady is now owner of Southwest Probation Services, inc in Arkadelphia and has the opportunity to minister in his private probation business on a daily basis. He strives to reflect the character of Christ with the correct balance of justice and compassion. He is Married to his best friend Stephanie Harmon and is the proud father of two. Their family’s desire is to see lives transformed by the power of Christ at NHBC and beyond.
